Joe Cotta
Head Pastor
I grew up on a family farm in Lodi, CA and accepted Jesus into my life at a young age. I married my high school sweetheart in 2001 and we have been blessed with 5 kids. At a young age I worked as a viticulturist and grower relations representative in the North Coast of California, our young family moved to St. Louis, Missouri in 2004 where I owned and managed a farm management and consulting company. In 2009, God revealed that He wanted us to move, but he didn’t reveal where. As we looked for opportunities around the country, He revealed that we were to come to Washington, where I was offered a job to be a Vineyard Manager. In Washington, we found Calvary Chapel Tri-cities, expanded our family, and grew exceedingly in our faith in Jesus.
Jesus called me into ministry soon after our move to Washington. In 2013, God placed a burden on my heart for Prosser, so I started holding weekly Bible studies there. In early 2022, our current church building was given to me by a generous pastor who wanted to see the church grow and glorify Jesus. We held our first Sunday service on July 31st, 2022. Since finding and attending and starting a Calvary Chapel, I’ve been involved in several additional ministries, including jail ministry at the Benton County Jail, substance abuse recovery at U-Turn for Christ, orphan and adoption ministry, as well as youth and adult ministries. It is a privilege to serve the Lord as the pastor of Harvest Valley Calvary Chapel in the Prosser community.

I didn’t grow up in a home that knew or followed the Lord—quite the opposite. But in His providence, God placed people in my life who reflected His love and testified of His goodness. Time and time again, I rejected that love. I called myself a Christian, but the truth was, I had no real relationship with Jesus. I chased after the world, ignoring the convictions He placed on my heart, believing that success and fulfillment could be found apart from Him. But the life I built on my own terms eventually crumbled, and in my late 20s, I found myself at the end of myself—spiritually broken and lost.
And yet, in His relentless pursuit of me, Jesus never let me go. In 2020, I walked into Calvary Chapel Tri-Cities on a Sunday morning, and my life was forever changed. For the first time, I heard the Word of God taught as it was meant to be—verse by verse, chapter by chapter. I was surrounded by faithful followers of Jesus who poured into me, discipled me, and walked with me as the Lord restored my life and made me a new creation. And in that place, I finally encountered the One my soul had been searching for all along. My life has never been the same after calling on His name.
Looking back, I can see that ministry was always God’s calling for me, even before I recognized it myself. It began in a hospice house, then led to ushering, and ultimately, to the place He had been preparing me for—youth ministry. Growing up in two churches, I fill in at Calvary Christian School, I am a leader in the high school and young adult ministries at Calvary Chapel Tri-Cities while still ushering when I am able.
Words cannot fully express the joy and privilege of teaching God’s Word to the next generation and equipping them for the work of the ministry: to share His good news and proclaim His name. I am just beginning this journey, and there is so much I have yet to learn. I am far from perfect, but thankfully the God we serve never asks for perfection—only a willing heart to serve Him and His people.
And in His faithfulness, He has done exceedingly abundantly above more than I could have ever asked or imagined. I just want to be used by my Creator to take part in the good work He is doing in the lives of those around me.
“Now the purpose of the commandment is love from a pure heart, from a good conscience, and from sincere faith,”
—I Timothy 1:5

Kaylee Wilkins
Girls Youth Leader
Hello! My name is Kaylee Wilkins and it is such an honor to be a part of Harvest Valley and this ministry.
I didn't grow up in a home that knew Jesus, but He was always pursuing me and in 2018, I gave my life to Him. Since I began following Jesus, He has radically changed my life. As someone who used to keep to myself and stay isolated, God now allows me to serve others in so many different avenues and live out my faith in every aspect of life. My focus is no longer inward, but outward and upward.
I have been a Sunday school teacher for kindergarten and first grade for the last five years, which has been such a joy as I get to watch the kids grow in the ways of the Lord. I am also a leader in high school ministry at Calvary Chapel Tri-Cities and Harvest Valley. Pouring into the next generation, encouraging them to go deeper in their relationship with Jesus, read His word, and cling to the truth has been such a privilege. I have been involved in several other ministries such as women's bible study and serving at the mission.
Beyond church, I have a 12 year old daughter that I get to raise and also encourage in her daily walk with Jesus. We moved to Tri Cities in 2018 and have been blessed with such a sweet church family, we have felt at home ever since.
Whether in ministry, family life, or everyday interactions, although I fall short, my goal is to always be pointing others to the grace, peace, and love found only in Jesus.
“The grass withers and the flowers fade, but the word of our God stands forever.”
Isaiah 40:8

Jenni Cotta
Womens Ministry & Church Office Manager
I grew up in Lodi, California in the Seventh Day Adventist faith. In 2009 I left Adventism and began attending Calvary Chapel Tri-cities where I was mentored and called to teach the Bible. I taught a combination of Jr and Sr High School Bible classes for 7 years at Calvary Christian School and have been teaching and leading women’s ministry for almost a decade.
I currently serve as the office manager and women’s ministry leader for Harvest Valley Calvary Chapel, Prosser, where my husband of 23 years is the pastor. We have 5 children together and it is my greatest joy being their mom. My heart, outside of being a wife and mom, is to teach and disciple women with the Word to illuminate the love of Jesus in every aspect of their life.
